Subject: Safety and reliability measures.

Please see the attached email I received from Paul. I agree with him that we ought to be
measuring these areas ourselves as the last thing we need is to fail a local government audit as
this will inevitably give us more bad publicity.

I’d like for you to prepare me a report that covers:

‐ four different measures that we could use to cover the reliability audit and four that could cover
the safety audit. Include an explanation of any difficulties we might have in collating the
information.

‐ in case the implementation of these measures involves a substantial cost spend, business
reasons as to why we should be measuring these anyway to improve our profitability.
