Attendance and Punctuality

It is imperative that you are available to report to work on time and to avoid unnecessary
absences. Unnecessary absences do not include illnesses or other circumstances outside
of your control, but recurring absences or tardiness may result in disciplinary actions that
may lead to the termination of your employment. Absences puts additional load work on
co-workers and can negatively affect the overall function of the school. If you must be
absent, you must call your immediate supervisor and/or manager as soon as possible, and
in the case, you have to leave a voicemail, provide a number at which you can be
reached.

                            Inclement Weather

Citizens’ High School will be open for business unless there is a government-declared
state of emergency or if your supervisor tells you otherwise. Unfortunately, you will not
be paid when work is not available due to circumstances not within Citizens' High School
control; the following are examples of such circumstances.

    • Operations cannot commence or continue due to threats to employees or property
or when recommended by civil authorities.

    • A prolonged public utilities failure to supply electricity, water, etc.
    • Fire, flood, earthquake, avalanche, hurricane, snow storms, etc. or some other

cause not within Citizens' High School control causes the interruption of work.

                     Dress Code and Public Image

As an employee of Citizens’ High School, we expect you to present a clean and
professional appearance when you represent us. Business casual dress is generally
acceptable for employees in the Citizens’ High School office. For faculty members, face
to face interaction is limited, there is no strict dress code enforced. However, studies
show that works from home employees are more productive when they dress as if they
were in an office.

It is imperative that employees act in a professional manner and extend the highest
courtesy at all times to co-workers, students, vendors, and clients. Inappropriate verbiage
or other vulgarities are never appropriate. Please employ common sense when it comes to
language and respectability.

                                 Work Space

Employees are responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, efficient workspace. Studies
show that an organized workspace provides an environment conducive to productive
work. The workspace should be free of items that are unnecessary to perform your job.
