תוכן: הרבנית ראשה לאה, אם ה׳חזון איש׳, כותבת מכתב לבני משפחתה [“ילדים יקרים שתחיו״], והיא מזכירה את חתנה רבי שמואל ואת בתה הרבנית צביה [גריינימן].
רקע: רבי שמואל גריינימן, גיסו ויד ימינו של בעל החזון איש, היה עוזרם הקרוב של החפץ חיים ושל רבי חיים עוזר גרודזינס׳קי. כל שנותיו בארץ ובחו״ל סייע לגיסו הגדול, וכידוע בספרי החזון איש, לא נזכר שם המחבר, אלא הופיע שמו של המוציא לאור רבי שמואל גריינימן. מבניו רבי חיים

Handwritten letter from Rebbetzin Rasha Leah Karelitz, mother of the Chazon Ish. Kossovo, [1923].
Speci cations: [1] leaf, paper. 20x13 cm. Yiddish.
Content: Rebbetzin Rasha Leah, the Chazon Ish׳s mother, wrote this letter to family members [Dear children...]. She men- tions her son-in-law Rabbi Shmuel and her daughter Rebbetzin Tzivia [Greineman].
Background: Rabbi Shmuel Greineman, brother-in-law and con- dante of the Chazon Ish, worked closely with the Chofetz Chaim and Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinski. He helped his renowned brother-in-law all his years in Israel as well as while abroad. As known, the books by the Chazon Ish were printed anonymously, but the publisher׳s name is mentioned - Rabbi Shmuel Greineman. Rabbi Chaim Shaul Greineman was among his sons.

מאפיינים יחודיים: "לא אכתוב השיעורים בצמצום ממש אלא מהם כפי הערך בתוספת כל שהוא". בביאור השיעורים מצוין גם השיעור שיש להחמיר בו בדאורייתא. לאחר שפירט את כמות המים הנדרשת למקוה, הוסיף “וח״ו שלא לפחות מזה השיעור בשום אופן. והממעט מזה השיעור
קפגע בחיוב כרת ר״ל״. מצב: בינוני-טוב, כתמים עם פגימות בנייר ובחלק מהכתב.
