A guest lecture on the topic “Application of

Advanced Semiconductor Devices and its Circuit

Implementations” was conducted on 21st February

2018 by Mr Kanthavel Kumaran Senior Hardware

Design Engineer, Aricent Technologies, Chennai. This

guest lecture was organized by Dr S. Ananiah Durai and

Prof. Subhashini N. Around 61 students from BTech

Electronics and Computer, Electronics and
Communication participated. Semiconductor Materials

and Devices suitable for High-Speed Applications, and

Defence and Aerospace were discussed with suitable

examples. Students were taught on the choice of

devices for Space-related applications were also

discussed.
