Vijay Ramaswamy receives CCSRI Emerging Scholar Award and Brain Canada Future Leaders Award
This year, the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS) launched a new program aimed at establishing and advancing promising early career scientists and clinician scientists with a focused commitment to undertaking
cancer research. The CCS awarded
Dr. Ramaswamy’s study “Personalizing therapy in high-risk childhood ependymoma” with five years of support.
In addition, Brain Canada awarded
Dr. Ramaswamy with a Future Leaders Award, which recognizes early-career scientists
and funds their game-changing, innovative research project ideas.
