The whole world has come to a standstill and the reason is the pandemic COVID-19. All of a

sudden it seems we are part of a horror movie.
The villainous Coronavirus is killing thousands across the globe and we are feeling helpless
not knowing what to do. It has turned our lives upside down and we are confined to our homes
with no outings and unable to meet our friends and relatives.

But the epiphany is, the situation has given us a chance to look at things differently. In the
beginning when the lockdown was announced we children were very happy but as time passed
it made us realise the importance of attending schools and classroom teaching.
But now we had no other go, but adapt ourselves to this new system-online teaching. Our
teachers are trying their best to make it through this new system of teaching and not leaving
any stone unturned so that we do not waste our most precious time sitting idle.
The online classes are a challenge for us as well as for our teachers initially but as time

progressed, we got used to it. This taught us a very important lesson at our early age not to run
away from a difficult situation rather than face it with grit and determination.
These hard times also taught us the value of everyday necessities like vegetables, fruits and
groceries. In the initial days, my parents found it difficult to procure the necessities as the
lockdown had taken its effect. We managed with limited resources and overcame the situation.

We have now leant to respect our farmers and street vendors who were bringing essentials to
        our doorstep.
The lockdown has also taught us to appreciate our parents who usually work hard day and
night to fulfil our unreasonable demands and never complained. The situation also gave us an
opportunity to spend quality time with our parents. They also taught us the value of money
and how necessary it is to save money for the rainy days.

We also learnt that it is one’s moral duty to stand by our employees in the offices and factories
and our domestic help in their hours of need.
The pandemic also taught us many lessons and is worth fighting for to secure an invaluable
        jewel - MANKIND.
