The whole world is struggling to deal with the spread of COVID 19. Various
groups of scientists are researching to find an effective vaccine that would
prevent the spread of the disease. Vaccines have eradicated various infectious
diseases from the face of the earth. Vaccination plays a crucial role in
maintaining a healthy population; it prevents various harmful germs/viruses from
attacking us and this has prevented millions of deaths. The administration of
various vaccines helps our immune system to protect us from various infectious
diseases.
Most vaccines undergo phase 4 trials which monitor the safety of vaccines, this
allows for rare reactions to be detected.
World’s first vaccine was performed by Edward Jenner against smallpox.
We probably hope for the best vaccine to eradicate COVID-19.
