Manali is a beautiful hill station in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh.

Paragliding is one of the major tourist’s attractions in Manali. It is a breath taking

and adventurous experience amidst beautiful and serene nature.

I did my first paragliding in May 2018 when I was 10 years old. A rope trolley

took me up to the diving point. The helpers fitted me with the protective and

necessary gears for the glide. I had butterflies in my stomach and was excited to

take the leap. I was scared in the beginning but still went ahead. I inhaled deeply

and dived into the air.

After a few seconds I opened my eyes to see the mesmerizing view. It was very

cold in spite of wearing sweaters. The wind was gushing into my ears. I waved at

my mom below who was cheering and taking my photographs. It felt as if I was

floating in the sky, I was in the air for more than five minutes. It was a

marvellous experience of my life which removed my fear of height. I look

forward for such an amazing adventure once again and recommend everyone to

go for it!!!!
