1ST QUARTER 2018 CPNC/CHCNC EMPLOYEE NEWSLETTER
MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, ANNE RICHEY
We have spent time over the past year gathering feedback from staff in a variety of ways as
part of our strategic planning process. Focus groups were held in several locations, surveys
were made available to all employees, and information was gathered through staff meetings
and exit meetings. Management team and the Board of Directors met many times, and using
the information we gathered as our foundation we developed a strategic plan for our organiza-
tion.
Common themes tended to rise to the top of the priority list as we listened to what was shared.
One common theme that we all agreed upon was the need for additional, accurate communi-
cation about what is going on within the agency. Traditionally, information is shared monthly at the management
team meetings. Department Directors then share that information at their staff meetings. Information is some-
times not timely due to meeting schedules and the challenges of meeting face to face.
As a first step, we will be starting a newsletter for staff. This will be a place we can share information about chang-
es, successes, challenges, advocacy efforts, regulatory changes, and general information about each program we
have. My hope is that our entire CPANC/CHCNC team will become better informed about all of the exciting oppor-
tunities we have to make a difference in the lives of those we provide services and supports to.
Thank you for your ideas, suggestions and questions. I regret that I cannot be at each and every staff meeting, how-
ever I will be available to attend should you wish for me to answer questions and share information in person.
Thank you for your patience. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many.
