Below is an example of a board report that I have compiled for the monthly board
meetings. These reports include different highlights and trends from the monthly golf
calendar.
May 2017 – Board Report
• Total rounds for the month of May were 3,226 Vs. 3,766 from last year. Due to multiple
rain days in the spring, numbers are slightly down. All categories in terms of rounds are

as projected. In the month of May we did not fill the date of the 15 for an outing causing
a shortage in the outing budget. Also with the Monday Outings that we had thus far
numbers have been down in terms of participants.
• Greens Fees:
o May:
§ Actual: $154,755
§ Budget: $181,250
§ 2016: $150,305
o Year to Date:
§ Actual: $172,735
§ Budget: $203,250
§ 2016: $174,840
• In the month of May we hosted the following outings.
• Seton Hall Outing –100 Players – Projected players = * New Outing
• MS Outing – 165 Players – Projected players =192
• Palisades Outing – 145 Players - Projected players = 164
• This years Memorial Day Member- Member remained the consistent with last years
numbers. This year we had 104 participants.
• The 2017 Beefsteak included included 33 teams totaling 132 players. Last years
Beefsteak consisted of 124 total players. Making this year’s beefsteak an increase of 8
players.
• Member’s Club Championship consisted of 16 players competing for 7 spots in the
Championship flight. The next 8 were then flighted into the A-Flight. We also then had
13 players playing for 8 spots in the Handicap Flight Division.
• Most “No Holers” have already signed up for the next short game school. Also 8 non-golf
privilege ladies have been active in signing up for all of the clinics. Overall generating
more opportunities for the club through food and beverage, clubhouse dining, and golf
participation.
• Junior Golf is off to a great start. We have the Junior Club Championship coming up

Thursday June 22 and Friday June 23 . Also Junior Camp will be starting Tuesday,

June 27 . As of now we have 20 pre-book sign ups for camp. That number will be
expected to grow as schools are now starting to let out for summer. Camp is fully staffed;
logistics and responsibilities have been assigned.
• Weekday Outings were as follows for the month of May:
o NJ Car – 16 Players
o Demi Thoman – 20 Players – Projected 24 Players
o Tom Lane – 16 Players
