Golf Staff Responsibilities

These job responsibilities reflect my job descriptions at The Ridgewood Country Club.
Spreading the responsibility and delegating, has helped me with the detailed
accomplishment of any job or project. Also, having a professional responsible for
different aspects of the operation ensures that the duties are done in a complete fashion
with direct responsibility.

First Assistant Professional

• Director of Golf Instruction
• Director of Member’s Prize Fund events/entries/website/emails
• Women’s clinic coordinator
• Men’s clinic coordinator
• Director of Junior Golf
• Club fitting
• Club repair (in house and out)
• Outings – (Mondays and weekday)
• Daily shop operations
• Bulletin board maintenance (Schedule/Results)
• Track target numbers for club repair (In house and out), lessons (individual, clinics,
junior golf)

• Director of 18-Holer Tournaments/entries/website/emails
• Daily shop operations
• Women’s clinics
• Golf Instruction
• Junior Golf
• Club Fitting
• Club Repair
• Outings (as scheduled)
• Oversee inventory/ordering/returns of: Clubs and golf bags (monitor special order book)
• Handicap postings
• Track target numbers for sales (woods, hybrids, putters, wedges, iron sets
