Brazil has Became one of the meccas of electronic music in recent times.
In the last five years electronic music experienced an undeniable growth of audience and popularity in the world, and in Brazil this scenario is no different. Clubs, festivals, international tours and Brazilian artists touring several cities all weekend seem to be evidence of this, because its a very big country, and each state (region) have very different characteristics, different types of parties and music. So there is no way to know exactly where and when all the electronic music events happen.
The electronic music audience Grew 56.64% in Brazil in 2011, reaching 19.5 million people, due to the Increase of festivals and Conducting tours of international artists. A large
part of electronic music public are concentrated in Sao Paulo, and in the southern region of the country is home to the biggest parties and the main clubs of the country.
Brazil hosted the Creamfields festivals, Ultra Music Festival and Rock in Rio, who dedicated the stage to this genre in its six days of concerts, and other events such as festivals Planet Earth, SWU, XXXperience and Tribaltech.
