Be aware of parallax error. The bottom of the meniscus should be in line with the
desired graduation mark. When reading the volume of the liquid, your eyes should be in line
with the meniscus and to ensure that this is achieved, the measure should remain on a flat
surface (e.g. on a bench top). If it is necessary, you will be required to move your head down
to the correct level. DO NOT lift the measure to your eyes level – it will be more difficult to read
               accurately.

Figure: Ensure your eyes are at the same level as the graduation mark. (From CHROMacademy.com)

               7.2.5 Containers/Bottles
The containers for all products are available at the middle area of the lab. Please ensure that
you take a suitable container each time for your product. There are bottles for 50 mL, 100
mL and 200 mL, and glass containers for ointments, creams, jellies and pastes with different
               sizes.
An amber coloured bottle is for products that should be protected from light.

A fluted bottle is for products meant for external applications.

A non-fluted bottle is for products meant for internal applications.
You would have to submit your products in these containers, along with proper labels.
Your products will be evaluated and before the next practical class, you are required to clean
the bottles/containers. Failure to do so will result in certain penalties that are deem fit by the
               lecturer.
