The Incline Bar Coarse Screen (IBCS) is used for `coarse screening’ where the removal of waste
material between 15mm and 100mm in size is required in water and wastewater treatment. BAR SPACING (E) (liters/sec)
The screenings are collected against a taper bar screen eld and the waste is removed by means of MODEL
a multiple rake system. The rakes pass over the screen eld and in doing so remove the entrapped 15 20 30 40
screenings waste which caught between the taper bar. The screenings waste is then carried by IBCS800 997 1101 1238 1321
the dual chain driven rake system up the debris plate and discharged at the top back end of the IBCS1000 1127 1245 1397 1483
screen by the scraper system, moving down the discharge chute for further processing.
The screens are tted with a single motor-gearbox drive mechanism. IBCS1200 1451 1605 1800 1915
As an electrical standard the screens are timer based or as an additional option the screen drive IBCS1400 1771 1965 2207 2358
can be tted with a di erential level system, so that screens can be set to determine the frequency IBCS1500 1937 2149 2412 2574
at which the rakes pass over the screen eld. IBCS2000 2750 3053 3438 3672
Under normal operating conditions the controller (be it a PLC or di erential level controller) IBCS2500 3564 3960 4464 4780
ensures that the screen is operated intermittently, based on timers set for raking and standing. IBCS3000 4392 4878 5472 5886
Due to the minimal maintenance, great reliability and ease of operation, this screen is extremely
popular in water plants wherever there is a diminutive allowance for technical operators. The
sizing of this screen is calculated to suit max PWWF. STANDARD
Screening waste discharge is designed to suit further waste removal systems, namely conveyors, CHANNEL CHANNEL INSTALLED
screw compactors or direct discharge into waste bins. MODEL WIDTH (A) DEPTH (B) DISCHARGE HEIGHT ( C) SCREENING ZONE POWER kW
