        This complaint under Section 12 (1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act purports to have been filed on behalf of
        or for the benefits of the allottees of residential flats in the project namely  “ Canopy Classic” which the
        Opposite Party No. 1 namely, Canopy Estates (P) Ltd. is developing in Karnataka.  All the aforesaid allottees
        are stated to have a common grievance against the Opposite Party and are stated to be interested in all the reliefs
        sought in the complaint.   The Opposite Party No. 1 is stated to be a builder and Opposite Party Nos. 4 to 8 are
        stated to be the land owners who also have entered into an agreement with flat purchasers, though the builders
        acting as their attorneys.

        The complaint is admitted, subject to just exceptions against Opposite Party No. 1 and Opposite Party Nos. 4 to
        8.

        Issue notice along with a copy of the complaint to Opposite Party No. 1 and Opposite Party Nos. 4 to 8, for
        13.8.2018, directing them to give their version of the case , within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt
        of the notice and notice of IA No. 4276 of 2018 seeking permission under Section 12 (1) (c ) of the Consumer
        Protection Act.
