This is to bring to your notice and attention that in the matter of Sanjeev Agarwal & Ors vs. M/s Canopy
Estates (P) Ltd. and Ors.- Consumer Complaint No. 547/2018, the Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes
Redressal Commission has admitted the case and has issued the notice to you and the landowners of the project
“Canopy Classic” at Sy. No. 43/3, Banaswadi Village, Krishnarajapuram Hobli, Bangalore East Taluk,

Bengaluru, Karnataka vide its order dated 12 March 2018. The said order is attached here for your perusal
and is being served upon you. The next date of hearing is 13 August 2018. You may peruse the order and

comply with the orders of the Hon’ble National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, in the interest of
justice.

The said Consumer Complaint has been filed by the homebuyers of the aforementioned project as a class action
i.e. on behalf of all the similar situated home buyers of Canopy Classic under Section 12(1)(c) of the Consumer
Protection Act of 1986. This Consumer Complaint alleges, deficiency in services, unfair trade practice,
negligence amongst many other issues.

The copy of the Complaint can be obtained from the Registry of the Hon’ble Commission by you. In case you
want a copy of the same from us do let us know, same shall be provided to you. However, if the copy of the
Complaint is not sought from us within 7 days from the receipt of this mail, it will deemed that you are in receipt
of the entire complaint from the registry of the court. You may also provide the address on which the same can
be delivered to you.

Further, the Hon’ble commission has also issued notice vide its order dated 26 March 2018 , to an application

of interim relief which has been filed by us. The copy of the said application is attached here for your perusal and
reference. The copy of the order shall be provided to you as soon as it is uploaded on the Commission’s website.
This application is for maintaining status quo in the project and not to revoke the arrangement between both the
builder and the landowners.
