“We had a spectacular room, with housekeeping two times a day,” Rodriguez said. Another
bonus: free breakfast for both days, at a value of $145. “The doorman walked over a bucket
of carrots for us to feed the horses at Central Park,” she added. She has four more vouchers
left and plans to use them sometime within the next year for a mini-vacation.
Vouchers can even be used for international stays. Cherie Maier, Manager, Health
Enhancement,
stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Barcelona in August 2011 for two nights. The vouchers cost $125 for
each night and included breakfast for two. “The Ritz had a fabulous buffet breakfast, which
normally would cost around $25,” said Maier, a Vitality Platinum member. The regular price
of the hotel room was around $475, not including breakfast.
