The Value of Vitality Vouchers: Get More Hotel Bang for Your Bucks

for Hyatt, Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton. Depending on your Vitality status (Bronze, Silver,
Gold or Platinum), vouchers can offer significant savings during a hotel stay.

Here, some HealthCare Partners employees share their experiences using Vitality hotel
vouchers.

In September, Jennifer Morris, business analyst at Pacific Gateway and a Vitality Platinum
member, used two vouchers in one night for her husband, herself and another couple to
stay at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco during a motorcycle trip. “The rooms were listed at
$299 per night but I got them for $50 each with vouchers. When we presented our Hyatt
vouchers, they upgraded us for free to the 24th floor!” Morris said.

Morris also used Vitality Bucks (not vouchers) to fly to Omaha, Nebraska in August. She used
Vitality Bucks to stay at the Quality Inn across from the state capitol. “The price of the room
was $140 per night but I got it for 8,721 Vitality Bucks,” Morris said. “When we checked in,
they told us they noticed a travel agency had booked our trip so they gave an upgraded room
with a view of the state capital and Des Moines River, and hot breakfast in the morning.

“It seems if you pay by Bucks or vouchers, the hotels give you better service than paying cash!”
Morris said.
