            His opinion isn’t needed                          She sits there, cold
            Yet “It is murder !” he proceeded                 Cold, but warm inside
            “It should be banned” he protested                She’s done with crying
            He added “People who allow this should get ar-    She takes a long breath
            rested”.
                                                              She realizes she is bigger
            He speaks like he knows everything                Bigger, than her woes
            But in reality does he know anything ?            She’s strong and brave
            He says “abortion is killing”                     She’s fought and won
            Little does he know his words have made human
            rights go missing.                                She thanks herself
                                                              She thanks her lungs, arms and legs
            “Menstruation ew it’s disgusting,                 Thanks them for handling
             hold it in” say the boys                         Handling what her heart and mind couldn’t
            Like holding it in was ever a choice
            If she ever tries to break the silence                    She imagines her boat
            The society adds, “Boys will be boys,                     As her mind
             no need to be violent”.                                  She imagines the lake
                                                                      As her tears
            In this wicked scheme of the society
            All about misogyny and patriarchy                         She rocks peacefully
            She is stuck alone in the middle                          As peaceful as she is
            It is a kind of scheme in which                           She feels the water
            no one dares to meddle.                                   And she rocks herself to sleep
