• Am I committed to doing the work it takes?

                       • Am I committed to my decisions?

                       • Am I committed to myself?

People who very vividly describe or picture their goals are anywhere from 1.2 to

1.4 times more likely to successfully accomplish their goals than people who

                                                             don’t.

               Evaluate Progress

Your self-awareness is needed here – be honest, candid, and objective with your progress.

You should have steps in your action plan to trigger it’s time to evaluate your progress.
Depending on your goal, those checks might occur monthly, quarterly, or another time. Ask

               yourself these questions:
                       • How am I feeling right now about my progress?

                       • Has anything changed to prompt me to make a change?

                       • What are my quantitative (numbers) measures telling me?

                       • What are my qualitative (feedback) measures telling me?
                       • How much progress have I made towards my goal?

                       • Do I sense any momentum?

                       • What obstacles have I faced? What were the results?
                       • What roadblocks are still in my way? What is my plan to get around those?

               Make Detours

Detours will invariably occur on your way to achieving your goal(s). It’s how you handle
the detours which matter most. Think back to your greatest inner strength and pull from this in

times of detours. Also, keep your goal in focus, try not to let the fog get in the way and prevent
you from achieving your goal. Have you veered off course and needed to start over? That’s okay.
