Virendra and Sunaina are siblings studying in 2 standard in Delhi Public
School Bangalore. Financial Management is an emerging necessity and in
view of Mr Rajendra
Shetty, the school
principal, it should be
started right from the
childhood days.
Therefore, a decision is

in primary standards.
Virendra and Sunaina
are very sporty and
enthusiastic kids and took this up with a lively sprit. They used to save the
change money from their parents daily spending’s and collect them in a Sheep
bank. The activity was for a month after which the siblings who were also class
mates took the sheep bank to the school principal. The principal was very
impressed to see that the siblings collected worth Rs 1500 amount from
change money. They then shared their approach to the class mates and the
class mates welcomes their idea with enthusiasm. Slowly this spread across
the school with momentum and, Virendra and Sunaina were felicitated in the
school annual function for their participation and sharing the idea which
spread to many other fellow school mates. They made their parents very
proud in the annual school function.
