Figure 11-11K–N. Shifting the real medium piece between the left index and middle fingers, reach across
again. Transfer the medium piece to the right hand as you grasp the other two ends with the left thumb and
forefinger (K). Draw the other two ends away, leaving the real medium piece behind. “Two medium pieces,”
you say. Then make a third pass to draw away the real medium piece again. “Three medium pieces (L).” To
finish, bring all six ends up into left hand again (M). Finally, grab the indicated ends and yank them out. The
pieces will be restored to short, medium, and long (N).
