change what has come before – whether we
agree with it or not – my aim has been to
meet this head-on. It is for this reason that I
asked the Branch Council to set up a
working group of representatives, myself
included, to form a pensions working group.
This group has met several times and
the most important outcome, I think, has

We really want to hear from all
members. It is one entry per member and
entries must be received by 18 December.
We will inform members of the results as
soon as possible but it is likely to be early in
the New Year.
Finally, I would just like to wish you all
the very best for Christmas and for the New
Year. I know it is going to be far from
everyone’s usual festive period but I hope
that you still manage to at least get some
down-time.
