9 Annual Fighting FORE Roman Golf Outing

Over 150 golfers including some GCU
members, enjoyed a beautiful sunny day
at Quicksilver Golf Course in McDonald, PA
on August 17, 2024 to raise funds for the
Nerufibromatosis Clinics of Pittsburgh (NFCA).
They work hard to help support the NF families
and community in Pittsburgh. The event also

Nanty Glo Public Library Basket Raffle
The library held a basket raffle event on
December 19, to raise funds to support upcoming
activities at the library. All baskets and supplies
were donated from the community and the event
received GCU Community Matching Funds.

Annual St. Nicholas Parish/Community Party
Holy Ghost Byzantine Catholic Church hosted
its annual Saint Nicholas Parish/Community
Party on Sunday, December 1, 2024. It was
a great event, with close to 200 people in
attendance. Max.

included a sing-a-long. Saint Nicholas arrived bringing all kinds of goodies for
the children and adults in attendance. Max, a therapy dog was also there to
greet everyone. After pizza and cookies were served, the event ended with
a great basket raffle. Income from the fundraiser received GCU Community
Matching Funds which were presented to the Crystal Band.
Everyone enjoyed themselves and expressed a desire to be back again
