90 Birthday Party Annual Easter Egg Hunt

We surprised Sylvia An Easter Egg hunt was held on St.
Rusnock for her 90 Thomas Sunday after Divine Liturgy and

birthday on Sunday, the church dinner. ECF students enjoyed
June 1 with a cake and searching for eggs scattered around
refreshments after the church property. We appreciate the
Divine Liturgy. Sylvia generosity of the GCU Parish Social Grant for providing
is responsible for the the candy for this event. Very Rev. Vasyl Symyon is the
Sylvia Rusnock. parish’s pierogi project. parish administrator.

Feast Day of St. John the Baptist
On June 22, pizza and light refreshments were served
following the Divine Liturgy on the feast of St John the
Baptist. Both of these events received funding from
the GCU Parish Social Grant program.

2 Annual Picnic

Very Rev. Vasyl Symyon welcomed everyone to the
church’s 2 Annual Picnic on Sunday, June 29. We
nd
began with Divine Liturgy followed by lots of food and
games for children and adults. The GCU Social Grant
provided a candy filled patriotic piñata, popsicles, and
some giveaways for everyone who attended.

4 of July Celebration

Patronage Parish celebrated Independence Day, after
Divine Liturgy on Sunday, July 6, with parishioners
enjoying a decorated red velvet cake provided by the
GCU Social Grant. Very Rev. Vasyl Symyon gathered
the children together for a group picture to mark the
occasion of our country’s birthday! Thank you to the GCU
for helping us to celebrate all of these events!
