Pascha Baking Day Luncheon
On Thursday, April 3, bean soup
was made in a crock pot to
serve our paska bread bakers.

Parish Pizza Work Party
A deep cleaning of all the areas
of the church inside and outside was done on Saturday,
April 5. Those who volunteered that day relaxed
afterwards with a pizza social.

St. John the Baptist BBQ
After attending Divine Liturgy on the Feast of St. John the
Baptist, a BBQ was held. There was good food and water
games were played by the attendees. All of these social
events benefited from the GCU Parish Social Grant.

Thanks to the GCU 75 Thank You Breakfast

Parish Social Grant On Sunday, July 6, St. Nicholas Church sponsored a “Thank
for purchasing the You” Breakfast for all parishioners that assisted with the 75
th
desserts for our Anniversary that was held on June 22, 2025. Thanks to the
annual Flag Day GCU Parish Social Grant for funding the breakfast.

Parish Coordinator Feast Day Liturgy and Luncheon
On Sunday, June 29, 2025, the parish family of Ss. Peter
& Paul Church commemorated their patronal feast day.
Rev. Christiaan Kappes, PhD, SLD, pastor, celebrated
the Divine Liturgy and then the faithful gathered in
the church hall for a delicious buffet luncheon and to
socialize with family and friends. Thanks to the GCU
Parish Social Grant for assisting with this event.
