The food handler is vomiting or has  Exclude the food handler from the

diarrhea and has been diagnosed with an operation

illness caused by one of these pathogens:  Report the situation to the regulatory

 Norovirus authority

 Shigella spp.  Work with the medical practitioner and

 Nontyphoidal Salmonella the local regulatory authority

 Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC)

The food handler has been diagnosed

with an illness caused by one of these

pathogens:

 Hepatitis A

 Salmonella Typhi
