GIHS celebrated the auspicious occasion of the 47th
UAE National Day on 28th November 2018 with
great pride and zeal, as it is one of the most awaited
celebrations that has its historical significance, when
the Seven Emirates came together to form one
country, the United Arab Emirates.

47th UAE NATIONAL DAY 2018 The Assembly programme began with the recitation
of the Holy Qu’ran followed by UAE National
Anthem, School prayer, School song, Thought for the
day, Importance of the day and Health tip.
GIHS celebrated the day by conducting various
programmes in the school premises.
An inspirational speech was delivered by Principal
Mr. Mohammed Ali, in line with the vision and
directives of the great leaders of the UAE. He
highlighted the importance of the National day
when the United Arab Emirates got united in words,
spirit and actions.
He recounted the work done by the great founding
leaders, notably, Their Highnesses Sheikh Zayed bin
Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al
Maktoum, and the Rulers of Emirates, whose
perseverance and determination helped the nation
to reach the zenith of development where it is today.
The journey of development, providing safety &
security and spreading happiness continues with the
endeavours and efforts made by our great leaders
Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh
Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who took reigns
of this nation and are always working for the
prosperity and overall development of the U.A.E.
