MATHEMATICS CLUB

Math Club students gathered in respective classroom allotted from 4 grade to 7 grade

in 9 E and 8 grade to 12 grade assembled in 9 F and started with the respective

activity for the day.
Activity started with students of 8 to 12 class supervised by Mr. Bejoy and the club

President Master Abhishek.
Mathematical Quiz was initiated with guided instructions of the activity. Students
participated with great interest. In Grade 4 to 7 the Quiz Activity was conducted
th
th
by Mr. Bonifas and Mrs. Hasina. Mr. Bonifas and Mrs. Hasina instructed the general
guidelines for the Quiz. Students of math club enjoyed and had fun in the math quiz
time. Students actively participated and were happy with skill development activity.
The activity concluded within the allotted time with students having participated
with great enthusiasm.

Quiz competitions are always interesting and informative which provide

excitement among the students and make them aware of the current affairs. Quiz
club students successfully conducted a Quiz competition in the 6E and 6F for the
students of grade IV to XII categorized into four different groups (A. B, C and D)
with fervent participants giving a tough fight to each other.
Rules and regulations of the quiz were explained in the beginning. It was an
interesting five round competition, including objective questions with options
round which engaged the students for forty minutes. The students showcased their
brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. Though some of the questions were
very tricky, the teams tried to answer them with confidence.
Although all the teams participated actively, the team that scored the most was
team B. It was an informative and knowledge enriching competition for the
participants. This activity encouraged to bring out the best in all the club students
ensuring that the children learn through all possible ways and not just through
books and classroom teaching.

Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking, thinking
provides knowledge and knowledge makes us great.
