Club objectives
ARABIC CLUB
Encourage students to use classical Arabic in speaking and writing.
Develop confident, independent and fluent speakers and readers through an
appropriate focus on word, sentences and text-level knowledge.
Help students enjoy writing and recognize their value by providing meaningful
contexts.
As a part of our school’s extra-curricular program and student’s outreach initiative, we
instituted the Arabic club members to make Arabic language more interesting for the
students, and convert them capable enough to communicate with the community around
them in Arabic. The four skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) are a core issue for
prime communication therefore, they are central to children’s’ cultural and social
development. We aimed at developing the students’ potential and ability to use their literacy
skills competently and effectively in their learning.
The event was held in respective classrooms, where all the students assembled on the 09 of
Sept. 2019 at 4.40 PM accompanied by the teachers In-charge.
A conversation session by the students in the club was initiated where they spoke
traditional Arabic by using their own words, shared their personal data in Arabic with each
other. Such types of conversation helped students to improve their speaking skills, self-
confidence, listening and presentation skills.
All the students participated enthusiastically and buckled up for their upcoming club
activities and the event concluded at 5.45 PM.
