Flag Day is commemorated on November 3 every year since it was first
launched in 2013 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al
Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of
Dubai. But this year, it will take place on November 1, according to Sheikh
Mohammed's announcement.
