Another milestone in GIHS Green Initiative!
In collaboration with TREEWISE,GIHS installed a newspaper collection box in the school
premises to promote recycling of old papers. In a consumer driven world where thoughts
for the impact on our earth have largely been ignored, it is essential to promote and
practice sustainable living.
GIHS Ambassadors collect the old papers from students across the phases and drop it in
the box. It is an eco-friendly initiative where the collected waste newspapers from schools
is send to factory in India for converting it into high quality pencils. It helps in saving our
trees and and taking sustainably forward.
