Even though I have owned several sporting breeds, I have always wanted a terrier. Maybe this is a carryover from my childhood
and at 4 my mother bought me a smooth coated Fox. The Australian Terrier really appealed to me because of their spunky per-
sonalities and never say quit when on the trail of prey.
Sally is my first conformation dog.
She can show in the ring like the champion she almost is. Then some-
times it’s obvious we are both rookies! However once the show lead
comes off she reverts to “A Wild Thing!”
She sleeps on my pillow at night and likes to snuggle. When she
thinks she is head of the pack and tries to boss her two housemates
they immediately squash that thought.
She is our most proficient hunter and loves to show off the bloody
treasures.
I cannot express how much I love this sassy breed and am glad to
have three of them.
