The project ask to demon-

throughout civiliza�on and
how it has brought a signifi-
cant impact in various histori-
cal periods. I have selected
The Great Pyramid of Giza as
my project as it is one of the
oldest Seven Wonders of the
Ancient World, and the only
one to remain largely intact.

The aim –
Demonstrate an awareness of
the development of the main
121 strands of western architec-
ture and building technology
over the last 200 years.

Demonstrate a basic under-
standing of the architectural
language and how it has been
used by architects in various
historical periods.

Understand some of the
issues involved in the interre-
la�onship between theory
and design as exemplified in
various historical periods and
places.

Appreciate the way in which
many varied factors contrib-
ute to the development of
form.
