Amy Bongetti (she/her)

Amy completed her undergraduate degree at the University of
Melbourne in 2019, majoring in Neuroscience. She then went on to
complete her Honours year in Physiology. Currently she is completing
her PhD at the University of Melbourne where she is investigating the
biochemical mechanisms underlying muscle wasting in the Intensive
Care Unit. Amy also tutors in the Department of Anatomy and
Physiology and is involved in the University’s Elite Athlete Program.
Amy is passionate about women’s health, education, and sport.
Outside of academia, if you can’t find her buried in a good book, you
will most likely find her baking or either watching or playing sport.
Charlotte Wong (she/her)

Charlotte holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from the University of
Auckland. She was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of
New Zealand in 2023. For the past two years, Charlotte has worked in the
litigation team at MinterEllisonRuddWatts, a New Zealand commercial law
firm. She has also tutored for the University of Auckland’s legal method and
criminal law courses, and at a residential hall.
In 2025, Charlotte is commencing her PhD at the University of Melbourne
pursuant to a Centre of Excellence for the Elimination of Violence Against
Women (CEVAW) scholarship. Her focus will be on the mechanisms available
to defence counsel to assist decision-makers to understand the realities of
intimate partner violence. Outside of the law, Charlotte enjoys long-distance
running, reading novels and spending time with loved ones.
