축 사

지난해에 이어 올해도 개최되는 제33회 한국파스텔화가협회 공모전과
제37회 한국파스텔화가협회 국제전시회를 진심으로 축하드립니다.
더운 날씨와 어려운 상황 속에서도 변함없는 열정으로 국제 전시를 조직해 주신
한국파스텔협회 임원들과 회원님들, 해외 예술가분들께 진심으로 감사드립니다.
매년 계속되는 파스텔 그림 공모전은 파스텔 그림에 관심을 갖고 열심히 작품을 준비해 온 참가자
모두가 앞으로 좋은 예술가로 성장할 수 있는 소중한 기회라고 믿습니다.
다시 한번, 성공적이고 공정한 대회 운영을 위해 애쓰신 조 회장님과 임원진 분들께 감사드립니다.
IAPS(International Association of Pastel Society) 회장인 리처드 맥킨리(Richard McKinley)를
비롯해 세계 유명 파스텔 작가들의 멋진 작품을 볼 수 있어서 기쁘고,
여러분에게도 좋은 기회라고 생각합니다.
지난 36년 동안 우리 문교그룹은 KPAA와 함께 공모전을 진행해 왔습니다.
그동안 우리 협회는 파스텔화의 발전과 회원들의 예술적 역량 향상을 위해 후원해 왔습니다.
문교그룹 임직원들과 함께 이를 지속할 수 있어 뿌듯함과 보람을 느낍니다.
전 세계 파스텔 아티스트들을 연결하는 가교로서 성공적인 전시를 기대합니다.
항상 신선하고 새로운 주제로 파스텔화를 그려주시는 국내외 모든 작가님들께 감사드립니다.
이번 전시와 공모전이 국내외 작가들과 전 세계 파스텔화 애호가들의 소통의 장으로 성공하길
바랍니다.

Congratulatory Address

I sincerely congratulate you on the 33rd Korean Pastel Artists Association Competition
and The 37th Korean Pastel Artists Association International Exhibition which will be held
again this year following last year.
Also, many thanks to the board executives and members of the KPAA that organize the
international exhibition with unwavering passion despite the hot weather and difficult
situation, as well as foreign artists
I believe that the pastel drawing contest that is held annually is a valuable opportunity for
all contestants who had an interest in pastel painting and worked hard to prepare their
works to grow into good artists in the future.
Again, thanks to President Mr.Cho of KPAA and board members who worked hard to run
a successful and fair contest!.
I am happy to be able to see the wonderful works of famous pastel artists from around
the world, including Richard McKinley, President of IAPS(International Association of
Pastel Society) , and I think it is a great opportunity for you as well.
For the past 36 eventful years, we, Mungyo Group, have held contests together with
KPAA. In the meantime, we have been sponsoring KPAA for the development of pastel
painting and the improvement of our members' artistic abilities.
Together with the executives and staff of Mungyo Group, I feel proud and rewarded for
being able to sustain this. I look forward to a successful exhibition as a bridge linking
pastel artists all around the world..
Thank you to all the artists at home and abroad who have always created pastel paintings
with fresh and new themes.
I hope the Exhibition and Contest will be successful as a communication channel among
domestic and foreign artists and pastel painting enthusiasts from around the world.
