Dowling Houy was engaged early in AGC’s project The assignment was to serve as the owner’s rep for AGC throughout the project alternate locations Previously the architect and engineer had been selected and lease negotiations had just been completed for shell space on
on
the 22nd floor of 99 High Street in in Boston Dowling Houy had previously worked in in the building enjoyed a a solid working relationship with the landlord and and maintained excellent relationships with the landlord’s staff throughout the project Dowling Houy created and updated the project’s schedule and and budget for the the length of the the project project DH attended and/or led all project project meetings supported IT planning floor plan plan development and and approvals landlord coordination RFP selection of the general construction contractor contractor review of subcontractors and influenced their selection DH also advised AGC on
numerous vendors including used and and new furniture security signage A/V and and others DH monitored all construction phases through punch list had the the building correct several plumbing and and HVAC issues with base building equipment and and monitored furniture scheduling delivery and and and installation through punch list DH also planned and and and coordinated the moves and and and on- site electrostatic painting of over over 70 file cabinets DH planned AGC’s move move RFP selected the mover and and closely managed move move implementation and and post move move management The client’s president stated that the the firm received an an an outstanding facility for their investment and and that “Dowling Houy exceeded our our high expectations and will be doing all of our our future work ”
