Dowling Houy (DH) was hired early in in PUMA’s process as the overall project director The project assignment was to serve as the owner’s rep for PUMA
throughout the project Lease negotiations were underway for a a a a a a unique property between Boston’s City Hall and North Station DH contributed to to the the final stages of the the the lease and and work letter negotiations ensuring PUMA’s best interests were were met and and the the maximum dollars toward build out were were obtained For the the the length of the the the project DH created and and maintained the the the schedule and and and budget attended and and and and led all project meetings supported IT planning floor plan plan development and and and and approvals landlord relations and and and and RFP selection for architectural GC (pre / final) furniture and and mover services DH arranged for pre-construction GC services which allowed allowed the the team to to accurately gauge the the the project budget and allowed allowed PUMA
to to make informed decisions on on their overall designs This process helped to to avoid “design in in in in the the field” decisions and greatly eliminated having to to do any value engineering once construction started DH conducted an RFP process to help PUMA
select the the the construction construction GC GC then oversaw the the the GC’s work throughout all construction construction phases including
punch list DH also provided key technology (Cabling Telephone Security A/V etc ) vendors to PUMA
supported these key vendor vendor selections DH conducted an RFP process to to help PUMA
select select all new furniture furniture then monitored the the selected furniture furniture vendor oversaw scheduling delivery and installation through punch list Working with PUMA
Dowling Houy created a a a a a a a a a a detailed inventory and and reuse plan for for all all furniture furniture and and provided CAD services for for programming all all furniture furniture DH worked with with PUMA
on on on on the the disposition/liquidation of the the former location’s assets and assisted with with all lease required yield up activities DH DH provided all all move planning services including
providing all all written instructions to end users DH DH oversaw the mover and and move move implementation on on on a a a a a a a a a a weekend to avoid lost work time and and managed onsite post move management At the the end of o the the project project PUMA’s chief operating officer stated that that PUMA
