Enrolling for Benefits Is Easy! Eligibility to Participate
You are able to enroll in or make changes to your
current benefit elections through SmartBen, the new
online benefit enrollment site for Technip Energies
and your best source for benefits information.
You can contact SmartBen in one of two ways:
• Visit the web portal at:
https://technipenergies.smartben.net
• Call the SmartBen Employee Benefits Resource
Center at 855‑855‑1631
To access SmartBen, your user name will consist of
your employee ID + the last 4 digits of your Social
Security Number. Your password will be your date of
birth in MMDDYYYY format. You will be prompted to
change your password after your initial login.
As a Technip Energies employee, you are eligible to
participate in the benefits program if you work at least
30 hours per week. Benefits for new hires will be
available on the first day of employment. Enrollment
for all benefits must be completed in SmartBen
within 31 days from date of hire.
Be certain to verify or update your personal
information and make any necessary changes.
Once you have made your elections, you will not
be able to change them until the next open
enrollment period held in the fall of 2022 unless
you experience a Qualifying Life Event or change in
status.
Eligible dependents are considered to be:
• Your legal spouse or common law spouse
(government-issued marriage certificate may
be required)
• Your children up to the age of 26, regardless of
student or marital status, including stepchildren,
adopted children, or children for whom you are
the legal guardian
• Your child over age 26, if incapacitated due to
mental or physical disability
