DISCIPLINE
This is a complex issue that has seen many schools fail to effectively execute
appropriately, so as the school we also follow the guidelines as provided by the
department of education. We are also against corporal punishment and any form
of punishment that may cause harm to the learner. At our school, a learner may be
suspended given the degree of the offence.
The SABS is one of the stakeholders that
help to stress major offenses such as
selling substances on the school
premises and what would happen if you
do get caught.
INTERVENTION STRATEGIES
When things are not going as planned, there is always a need for plan B and for
the school that would be the following:
Every Monday & Tuesday, learners from grade 8 to 11, particularly
Mathematics learners are expected to remain after school extra lessons;
parents are notified beforehand regarding the intervention.
For the Matriculants, we follow the leading given by the district as have
plans.
