Bella Gonzalez is the I7 year old entrepreneur!
daughter of Corine Gonzalez and a
senior at Dinuba High School. Her future plans are to attend UC Davis

Bella’s academic honors include 5 white chevrons for achieving a GPA of 4.0 and above and an academic letter “D.” She also holds a distinguished spot in the top 1% of her graduating class.
She is involved in the DHS Medical Academy, Color guard, California Scholarship Federation, Choir, Madrigals, and she is the HOSA Chapter President.
Bella volunteers in the community at local Blood and Food/Toy Drives. She is currently an intern at Adventist Health Hospital as
a student in the DHS Medical Academy,
and she’s also a self-employed baking
Carly has received a Green Chevron and was also chosen as Emperor of the Month for her exemplary character. She is a member of the AVID program.
Carly is currently enrolled in a CNA course offered through Dinuba High School. In May she will graduate with her Certified Nurse’s Assistant certificate as well as her high school diploma.

Orosi Memorial Hall community yard sale to be held Saturday

At-large members of the Orosi Memorial Hall will be hosting a community yard sale from 7 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 1 in the parking lot at the Memorial Hall.
Community members are more than welcome to rent a space for $10 to sell their items.
“You can sell clothing and almost anything except food,” said at-large member Mary Helen Espino.
Espino says proceeds will go towards the upkeep of the hall.

She chose this platform because she would like to provide opportunities for our youth to find their passion so they can use those experiences to guide them towards a career they are passionate about.
Bella would like to be Miss Dinuba because she wants to act as a bridge of communication between our youth and community leaders. She would like to use her resources and network of people to implement her vision of encouraging others to pursue their passion.

She chose this platform because she strongly believes that the younger generation is lacking communication skills because they are often distracted by technology. She would like to encourage others to spend less time on their electronic devices and concentrate on building personal relationships.
Carly would love to have the opportunity to be Miss Dinuba because she believes she can inspire our youth to put down their cell phones and experience the world around them.
