The Dinuba High basketball team closed out their week of play with a 67-56 loss to Central Valley Christian on Monday. The Emperors, who are 16-5 overall and 2-3 in Central Sequoia League play, were led by Josh Magana (above) who finished the game with a game-high 21 points. In a 71-50 non-league win against Reedley, Luke Rodriguez (left) paced Dinuba with a game-high 22 points. The Emperors held a 51-43 lead after the third quarter and broke the game wide open outscoring the Pirates 20-7 in the fourth. Dinuba also defeted Kingsburg on Jan. 8, 56-54. The Emperors begin the second round of league play with a home game tomorrow night against Hanford West.

In a league match at Caruthers,
Orosi jumped out to a 3-0 halftime lead as the Cardinals shutout the Blue Raiders, 6-0.
Lupian scored two goals to
lead OHS while D. Pina, Saldivar, junior Victor Hernandez and Rodriguez wrapped up the scoring with a goal each.
Corona had two assists and E. Pina also had an assist.
Sophomore Aidan Rodriguez had a goal and two assists against Minarets.
