Hull Minster –
26 September 2021
The Lord Mayor’s Cadet, AC Josh Smith, escorted the Lord Mayor as part of his duties at Hull Minster.
Also at the service was the Lord-Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire and attending with him was AC Ben Atkinson, the Lord-Lieutenant’s Cadet. The Unit is very proud that these young Cadets are representing the Unit so well.

Armed Guard on Parade
It has been some time since the last Inspection due to lock-down and in addition, we have a lot of new Cadets.
However, after a lot of hard work, particularly with the Drill Team, where cadets are taught weapon handling skills as part of a structured programme of supervised training which emphasises safe and responsible use.
After all the effort and preparation everything was in place for the arrival of our President, the Lord Mayor of Kingston upon Hull and her Consort. It was her first visit to the Unit but, fortunately, all went well and she was suitably impressed by the Ship’s Company,
The Staff and her Lord Mayor’s Cadet, AC Josh Smith, gave her a suitable send off.
