Work aside, the Regional Command PD team found time to organise a day trip to Middle Wallop to view the Apache and to use the Lynx simulator – which is due to decommission in late 2017. An excellent day away from the office and MODNet.
In terms of PD staff rotation, we see a complete change on the horizon. SMI Paton will soon depart being replaced by SMI Slade-Jones. We wish him and his family all the very best on

commissioning into the REME. SMI Cowley assumed the Sport appointment from SMI Bennett who will depart regular Service in April 18. And finally, Tony Tang is the new PD clerk – keeping everything together!!
As I conclude my 24 months at Regional Command, I wish to personally thank all the RPOC staff (both in the UK and overseas) for their dedication, hard work and efforts in delivering a diverse range of PD outputs and ultimately supporting the RAPTCIs operating at the coalface. And for me, Andover here I come... again!!
