Air and Space Combat Power Visit

 ON 28TH MAY 2021, the Royal Air Force kindly hosted ACSC 24 at
the Air and Space Combat Power Visit (ASCPV), RAF Brize Norton. The primary aim of ASCPV was to demonstrate current and future RAF capabilities to ACSC students and to meet the aim of the Air and Space power week: “To examine the Air Domain’s contribution to the wider fight, across the spectrum of operations, and its integration with other domains in the ‘fight tonight’, ‘fight tomorrow’ and ‘fight in the future’ timeframes”.
To maximise the impact of the visit within COVID guidelines, this year’s visit was delivered in a blended model, with introductions delivered in an iLecture format from senior RAF leadership. In addition to this, a short video documentary depicting fictional scenarios was shown, demonstrating potential RAF responses on which the ASCPV was based prior to the visit.
On the day of the visit, the ASCPV was delivered as 12 stands grouped under five themes: Combat Air, ISTAR, Air Mobility, Air Enablers, and Air C2. In
