Want to make a New Years resolution that will benefit you and your community?
How about resolving to find out more about volunteering with your local Girlguiding unit?
There are Rainbows, Brownies and Guide groups running in Oundle, Thrapston, Kingscliffe, Polebrook and across East Northamptonshire that need more volunteers.
Getting involved with Girlguiding is a great way to boost your confidence and skills whilst
making a positive impact on the lives of girls and young women in your community.
You can join as a unit helper or train to become a unit leader, either way you will be well supported with opportunities to train in First Aid, Safeguarding, Leadership and more.
Maybe you can remember being a Brownie? Perhaps you have a daughter or grandaughter who would love the opportunity to make new friends and try new things?
If you can spare an hour or two per week to inspire girls then we would love to hear from you.
