OVER THE LAST YEAR, the Defence Academy built on its long running affiliation with the Swindon Sea Cadets, who regularly support a range of
events at the Academy, most notably demonstrating their ceremonial and piping skills at the Trafalgar Night Dinner in October.

Capt Pat Douglas RN was also invited to support one of the highlights of the year for the cadets, as the ViP at their annual awards night. “It was a great honour to present the cadets with their awards and to meet their families, all of whom were bursting with pride and appreciation for all the unit does for their children,” he said.
