'The plaster cast has gone, and I can walk around the pen. I hope they don't free me outside this building. I won't make it back to the meadow and have terrible thoughts of living alone in a strange place.

'Sadie, I've had a letter from Charlie's mother, Tilly. She wants to come and stay with us. I'm not sure that I can cope with her,' said Lottie Rabbit, as she handed the letter to her friend.
