Safety Memo #30 Safety Training

Thank you for participating in the 2021 ACI Annual Safety Awareness Training.
If you would like to pursue further training for deeper experience and safety knowledge, we will be offering

more training courses on several topics.

Competent Person Training is now being offered as an online course through Clicksafety.com and
etraintoday.com. Some site operations can be filled with hazards and dangers and a competent person is
assigned to make sure that those operations are performed safely and effectively.

• The Competent Person for Excavations course is 3 hours.
• The Competent Person for Fall Protection course is 4 hours.
• The Confined Space Supervisor course is 8 hours.
• The Confined Space Awareness course is 2 hours.

Cal/OSHA requires all operators of powered industrial vehicles to be trained and certified in their operation. Lift
Operator Certification Training will now be offered on site by request. This training is only available if your
site has boom lifts, scissor lifts, and/or fork lifts in regular operation and if the regular operators of the lifts are
not certified.

If you or your subcontractor needs to be certified as a lift operator, please reply to this email with the following
information:
1. Your project number
2. The first and last names of the people who will take the training
3. The type of equipment you need training in (NOTE: the equipment must be on site to do the training)
4. The site address
5. And a date and time for when you would like to do the training (NOTE: training can take 1-2 hours so
please schedule accordingly)

* If you are offering the training to subcontractors, a charge of $200/person can be made into a change order to
them.

more training programs.
