[ Clarifications for Cal/OSHA COVID-19 ETS Revisions for Project Sites ]
Based on recommendations from Cal/OSHA and the CDC, ACI would like to clarify what changed and what did
not change in ACI’s COVID-19 protocols with the release of the revised Cal/OSHA Emergency Temporary
Standard.
1. Signage with COVID-19 information will remain posted at all ACI jobsites until further notice.
2. The updated COVID-19 Exposure Control Plan is attached to reflect the recent changes from
Cal/OSHA.
3. The updated jobsite specific COVID-19 Prevention Plan will also be released at a later date to reflect
the changes from Cal/OSHA. The plan will be provided upon request.
4. ACI worksites shall comply with revised guidelines in the attached updated COVID-19 Exposure
Control Plan (6/17/21).
a. The COVID-19 Exposure Control Plan shall be posted at all ACI worksites.
b. Project teams may take the option to take visitors’ and subcontractors’ vaccination information;
however, if you feel unsafe at any time, then you may wear your mask regardless of your
vaccination status.
c. Masks/face coverings are no longer required outdoors at any ACI worksite regardless of
vaccination status, except in cases of outbreaks.
d. Unvaccinated persons must still wear a mask indoors at any ACI worksite (including the office).
e. If there is a meeting with vaccinated persons and unvaccinated persons in the same closed
room, vaccinated persons may wear masks throughout the whole meeting. Once again, if you
feel unsafe at any time, then you may wear your mask regardless of their vaccination status.
f. In any circumstance, nobody will be reprimanded or retaliated against if they choose to wear a
mask at any ACI worksites.
5. Physical distancing is no longer required at ACI worksites unless it is deemed necessary by project
teams and in cases of outbreaks.
Stay safe and stay healthy!
